All vendors that a legal business deals with have a serious of licenses they are required to obtain prior to operation. It is required, in most States, for the licensed entity to maintain proof that the businesses are operating legally. This is done by maintaining the vendors licenses for each of the issuing authorities for all companies the licensed entity does business with. Additionally, this acts as a CRM by maintaining a copy of wholesalers’ menus, ingredients for in house labelling, directions to and from facilities for tracking and delivery purposes and customer/vendor contact information.
